The process of turning organic waste; everything from yard trimmings, woody residuals, biosolids and manures; into compost involves moisture, heat and acids which can be highly corrosive.  To improve the overall life of an Oz Turner the tunnel is manufactured using galvanised steel.

Oz Turners drum and paddles are designed for maximum aeration and product blending.  Water can be easily added to the compost windrow using the Oz Turners built-in watering system and a side mounted trailing arm ready for connection to an external water supply.

A hydraulic steering system eliminates the need for heavy counterweights, which can add up to 4000kg to the machine, to enable the compost turner to pass through gates or travel down access roads.

Water Wagon and Compost Cover System can be supplied as an optional extra.

Oz Turners and Mulchers introduces its new Water Wagons, which come with a 5300 litre poly water tank for years of maintenance free service.

The Oz Turners Water Wagons has a 5 horsepower Honda water pump that pumps the water through a 1 ½” hose with a female camlock at the discharge end. The water tank can also be connected to a compost turner for pumping water into the inbuilt watering system, adding water to the compost as it moves along. Any agricultural device that requires a powerful supply of water can also use the Oz Turners Water Wagon as a mobile water supply.
